CASA
BATLLO
Whether you love him or hate him, you can’t go to Barcelona, without hearing the name of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Set in the heart of the city, Casa Batlló is a surreal and whimsical structure that captivates onlookers with its organic forms and vibrant colours. It was designed between 1904 and 1906, and showcases Gaudí's distinctive style, characterised by its fluid lines, eclectic shapes and concepts, and intricate detailing. The façade, adorned with a mosaic of colorful ceramic tiles and sculpted stone, resembles a fantastical underwater world, while the interior is equally enchanting, featuring curved walls, dynamic spaces, and an abundance of natural light.
