RAFAA
Most of us are pretty familiar with the bike sharing concept, it just that some are way cooler than others. Winner of the Reddot Design Award in 2010, the award winning, architecture and design studio 'Rafaa', created a concept for the Copenhagen Bike Share System that is as practical as it is pleasing. These ultra light bikes are connected through GPS and W-Lan, enabling them to keep tabs on every single bicycle in the system, which is pretty awesome security for the lone rider too.
The aim was to reduce the "visual pollution" wherever possible, while still remaing visible and providing accessibility. Not an easy brief and they genuinely deserve every accolade they've received as they totallly they nailed this.
